Your attendance register, retired.

DialHRM isn’t an attendance app. It is the HR desk a small business never gets to hire — it counts every punch, keeps every leave balance, works out every salary and explains every rupee, by your rules.

No card needed. In daily use at our own company and two salons.

Imran’s October

₹23,200 of ₹24,000

One unpaid day on the 20th — absent, with no leave applied. You can still cover it from Casual Leave.

why was my salary cut?? — Imran’s October: ₹23,200 of ₹24,000. One unpaid day on the 20th — absent, with no leave applied. You can still cover it from Casual Leave.

A sample team with made-up names. Every employee sees their own month and the reason for every deduction.

One punch. Five jobs done.

An attendance app stops at the punch. DialHRM carries it all the way to the payslip — so nobody re-types the month into a spreadsheet.

  1. A punch

At the front-desk phone with a PIN, or from their own phone at your premises.

  2. A day counted

Against that person’s own hours and their own weekly off.

  3. A leave balance

Short leave, half day, sandwich days — by your rules, always up to date.

  4. ReimbursementLoan applicationSoon
  5. Salary

Worked out from the month, with agreed overtime and approved claims beside it.

  6. A payslip

Every employee gets one on their own phone, with every rupee explained.

Built for the way Indian businesses actually run.

Each of these is a setting, not custom work. Switch on what fits, leave out what doesn’t.

Every deduction explained.

Each employee sees their own month in plain words — days worked, leave taken, and a sentence for every rupee deducted. “Why was my salary cut?” answers itself.

A weekly off for each person.

Fixed, or rotating week to week — salon and shop staff don’t all get Sunday.

A punch machine that’s just a phone.

Put a spare phone at the front desk. Staff tap their name, type their PIN and, if you choose, smile for a selfie — no smartphone of their own needed.

Sandwich leave, their choice.

When the rule applies, the employee sees which day it touched — and chooses to cover it from leave or take it unpaid.

Overtime, only when agreed.

Asked for, approved by both sides, then paid — each day on the salary sheet with who approved it.

A payslip every month, on its own.

Pay, days worked, leave balance and length of service on one page to take to a bank or a landlord. Nobody has to issue it.

Punch from their phone, only at work.

The Android app lets staff punch in, and only when they are at your premises.

Expense claims, settled.

An approved claim goes with the salary or is paid separately — you decide, and it stays on record.

Menstruation leave, if you offer it.

Its own kind of leave, for the people you choose. Off unless you switch it on.

Short leave and half day, your way.

Three short leaves make a day, or four — whatever your rule is, set for each kind of leave.

The desk work of one or two people, handed back.

At 150 to 300 staff, registers, leave ledgers and salary sums fill one or two full-time jobs. In a smaller team they fill the owner’s and the manager’s evenings. Put in your own numbers.

Minutes a month, for each person on the payroll. Change any number to match yours.

Keeping leave balances and answering “how many do I have left?”
Working out each salary, deduction and overtime

133 hours

of desk work every month that DialHRM does instead

That is 64% of one person’s month.

Our estimate for a business that runs HR on a register, a spreadsheet and WhatsApp. A full-time month is counted as 26 days of 8 hours.

Discipline that doesn’t depend on anyone remembering.

When the rules live in a system, they are applied the same way every day — to the longest-serving and the newest joiner alike. And when a bank, an auditor or an inspector asks, the record is already there.

Change record, sample

  • Manager moved Rohit’s weekly off from Sunday to Tuesday — “shift swap”
  • Owner approved Priya’s 2 days of Casual Leave
  • Imran asked to fix a missed punch-out — sent to his manager
  • Every change is written down

Who changed a punch, a leave or a salary setting, what it was before, and when. Nothing is edited quietly.

  • Requests go up the line

Leave goes to the manager, then the owner. Overtime needs both sides to agree, and nobody signs off their own.

  • A settled month stays settled

Once a month’s pay is locked it does not shift under anyone’s feet. Old leave types are retired, never deleted, so last year still adds up.

  • One rule, the same for everyone

Your policy is a setting, not a favour. Each employee sees their own record and the reason behind every number.

  • Rights you choose

Give a manager attendance but not payroll. Only the owner hands out a right or takes it back.

  • Private by design

Every business sees only its own people. Staff never see a colleague’s salary.

What you have today, and what changes.

Most small businesses run on one of the first three. Here is the honest difference.

Questions owners ask us.

Is this only for attendance?

No. Attendance is where it starts. From the punches DialHRM keeps every leave balance, works out the salary with agreed overtime and approved expense claims, issues each month’s payslip and keeps the record of who changed what.

Do my staff need smartphones?

No. A tablet or a spare phone at the front desk is the punch machine, and each person has their own PIN. Staff with an Android phone can use the app; on an iPhone it runs in the browser.

Can it follow our own rules?

Yes. Kinds of leave, how they are earned, weekly offs, the sandwich rule, short leaves, half days and overtime are all settings. If your rule is unusual, tell us on the call.

Can other businesses see our data?

No. Every business on DialHRM sees only its own staff and its own records.

What does it cost?

It is priced by the size of your team. The trial is free and we don’t ask for card details — we talk about plans once you have seen it working.
